Something that many bar owners tend to forget that is of importance is the glassware that they choose for their bar. The last night that I came by to work on the redecorating of my brother's apartment, I brought the cowboy accessories with me. I had pillows and a wall hanging and a couple of old hats that I'd found while I was looking around at garage sales. I still think the best garage sale find I made was the western glassware. I didn't need any help that night from my brother or his friends. They played poker while I tried to figure out if I was finished or not. I made the boys some Rusty Nails and served them in my brother's western glassware. A rusty nail is the perfect drink for western glassware. The drink even has a manly name. I put ice in the western glassware and then poured Scotch over the top. The crowning glory for this drink is the Drambuie that is floated on top. I was so pleased when my brother's apartment was completed. The last thing I purchased was a plaque that was in the shape of the state of Texas. All over the plaque were different types of barbed wire. It was really rustic looking and cool. I put it over the cabinet that the western glassware is stored in. My brother threw a great party once all of the finishing touches were done to his apartment. He asked me to bartend and I agreed. I brainstormed what kind of drinks I could serve to his friends and our family....
