Western Glassware - A Different Style - 2

...I strained the drinks into the western glassware and served them with olives. The guys loved them and even helped me paint.

The next Friday night that I worked on my brother's apartment, I made curtains. I stopped at the fabric store on the way over and found the perfect western motif. I cleaned all of the western glassware when I got to my brothers apartment and surveyed the liquor cabinet.

I found all of the ingredients for a Sidecar. I was excited about that because I hadn't had a Sidecar in a long time. I had to run to the grocery store to get lemons, but that was all I needed. I stirred the juice of a quarter of a lemon with one ounce of Triple Sec and another ounce of Cognac and strained it into the western glassware.

I returned to my brother's apartment a month later because I had been busy at work. The next Friday night that I worked on his redecorating, I fitted his couch with a slipcover and brought over a storage trunk for a coffee table that I'd found at a garage sale. I even found some more western glassware bowls at the garage sale.

There were only three guys at my brother's apartment that night. They were there to watch Unforgiven with Clint Eastwood. The cowboy decorating theme had them in the mood for a western movie. I served Scotch & Soda to the guys in western glassware.
